What could be

Read this. It is short and sweet, so it won't take up much of your time, but it is well worth it. Perhaps you have read it before, but read it again.

The Crown Jewels

So let's just skip over christmas...we'll come back to that in a few days...and fast forward to New Years!!!! I never, repeat never, have had an amazing New Years.

My most memorable NYE moment is getting caught in the middle of a fight in Savannah, whilst wearing 4 inch shoes on cobblestone, and turning my ankle. It was so fun to sit on a bench in 20 degree weather while Todd went to find his car before the party had even started. All I can say is UGH.

So this year, it is my year and I will not leave you in suspense any longer... I'm doing it up yacht style bitches

And on top of being on a fabulous boat while eating, drinking and generally being merry, I get to see these beauties at midnight while I kiss my sweetheart:

My Christmas wish list has been fulfilled! Woo! Now all I need is to see a broadway show, and go out with Joe! Can't wait!

On another subject, tomorrow night, my father's (who is a football coach) football team is playing at the Georgia Dome for the State Championship! So everyone give a cheer for Peachtree Ridge Lions and wear your blue tomorrow!

So if you haven't watched tonight's Gossip Girl or don't watch GG, than we probably don't hang out. GG is my favorite thing and tonight's episode had me brimming with tears as my favorite HBIC (head bitch in charge) comforted the one man that makes my mouth drool besides Shia and Prince Harry.

But why did he have to leave? Agh, the agony, the pain, the anger if he is even gone for one episode starting Jan 5th. However, tonight's episode did not have me on the edge of my seat. I wasn't even slightly surprised by anything, except Serena's stupidity by staying with that extremely ugly faux-artsy guy.

So, my Christmas wishes for next season/next year:
1. More Chuck and Blair
2. Vanessa dies or at least does not date Nate
3. Dan quits being so emo
4. Lil J, who I do love, takes a few more acting lessons
5. Drama, bitchiness, fabulous clothes
6. Blair, blair and more blair because she is, after all, what the show is all about.

xoxo bitches

Nolita Fairytale

I don't live in Nolita, but I firmly believe that when I move to NY with my future hubbie that we will live in our own little Brooklyn or wherever fairytale. I finally have gotten excited about planning a wedding. Just in time for everyone to be taking vacations for Christmas. So instead of chatting about my wedding, let me throw out a good Christmas cheer idea:

The Chicago-Sun Times (you don't have to be from Chicago) pairs local Chicago children with volunteer Santas. These children are from low-income areas and may not receive a Christmas gift this year. As Santa, you are asked to buy a $25-30 gift.
Natalie over at I heart Peonies has a cute story about her experience with the project, so you should all check it out here

So the season is upon us, and even though the economy is complete crap for us all, I think it will make us a little happier and others a little happier to give a little.

Measure your life in love ladies and gentlemen.

PS. I will be posting a Gossip Girl blog a bit later.
PPS. The city is calling my name, I hear it in the snow.
